JWANENG, BOTSWANA, AFRICA – NOVEMBER 28, 2006 - The Jwaneng Mine in Jwaneng, Botswana, the largest and richest diamond mine in the world by value, was visited today by Russell Simmons and a delegation from the Simmons Jewelry Company. Simmons is on a fact-finding mission to South Africa and Botswana to explore how the diamond industry, in conjunction with Simmons Jewelry Company, can empower the lives of African people and communities where diamonds are a natural resource.
